What are San Diego’s Best Foursquare Specials?
Foursquare Day 2011 is coming up in less than 2 weeks! I’ll be hosting the official Foursquare Day San Diego event at R Gang Eatery on Saturday April 16th, 8-11pm with Downtown Rob and Sugar Jones. To celebrate in style, R Gang Eatery is generously offering all attendees who show their Foursquare check in1 free drink between 8-10pm. They’ll also be serving complimentary tray passed appetizers to whet your appetite: Tator Tots, Jalapeno-Velveet-Bacon potato wedges, Maple Bacon Donut Holes, Flat Breads and dips! Their full menu and late night menu will be available so you’re encouraged to order more!

I really like The Pearl Hotel’s special: with every check-in, your first drink is $1! Cannot beat the free tots at Bub’s downtown either. Excited to see some other SD specials!!

I found these to be better than others. I like the ones where you don’t have to be mayor to get a special. The specials feature is underutilized by businesses. There should be more businesses on here.

These are great Jen! I also like the ones where you don’t have to be mayor because it’s more motivation for everyone to check in. Mayor specials are very limited although it’s cool if a venue has both so there’s extra incentive to compete for mayor.
